It’s employee appreciation day today, but at Bridgewater Resources’ HQ it’s more like employee appreciation week!
Employee appreciation day only comes around once a year, but we believe that our employees deserve to know how much they are appreciated far more often than that. With our monthly review meetings taking place this week, we’ve got lots of successes to shout about:
Congratulations to Dan Partington on his promotion to Senior Recruitment Consultant
Dan only graduated from our Bridgewater Training Academy back in November, but he has already proven himself with hard work and excellent results. Our CEO, Agnes Butterworth, said, ‘Dan has shown that he can be relied upon, is a good coach, a thought leader, and a high achiever. His team members look up to him and I know he will be able to offer them great advice from his Senior position.’
Dan was thrilled to receive his promotion saying that ‘This is a huge vote of confidence. It’s great that Bridgewater offers the chance to progress quickly and I’m glad that all of the training and development they have given me is reflected in what I have been able to achieve so far. I’m looking forward to helping others as well.’
Congratulations to Ria Dorward on her promotion to Senior Business Coordinator
Ria has been with us for over 2 years now and is taking on more responsibility as she steps up to a senior role. Our CEO said, “Ria has shown great commitment, loyalty, an ability to learn quickly and a real aptitude for budget management. On top of that, she has fantastic organisational skills, attention to detail and can be relied upon. Therefore, I had no hesitation in promoting her to the Senior Business Coordinator’s role.”
Ria is excited about receiving her promotion and said “I’m looking forward to taking on more responsibility and feel ready to grow into my new position. I’ll be looking after the expanding Bridgewater car fleet, managing the office supplies, as well as taking on invoicing, credit control and processing expenses.”

Happy Birthday to Melissa
We celebrated Melissa’s birthday in the office on Wednesday by surprising her with a team lunch of pizza and prosecco.
In addition, 7 team members have been rewarded with pay rises this month!
It’s certainly a busy time of year at Bridgewater and we would like to thank our entire team for all of their hard work and commitment to making an impact on the business.
