Based on a sample of 1.7 million people in the UK, Agency Central have released the figures in the infographic below, documenting what the average salary is in each region of the UK. As you would expect, London topped the charts with an average salary of £46K while the North East and Yorkshire & Humberside bring up the rear with £29K. While there is a significant gap between the bottom and top, the cost of living also varies a lot between the north and south.
