Salespeople earn an average of £21,995 a year, however, with a few years experience this can quickly increase. The other benefit of working in sales is that you can earn substantial bonuses and commission on top of the highest salaries. PayScale reports that UK salespeople earn anywhere between £2,447 – £30,201 a year in commission.
If you climb the sales career ladder to a Sales Director position, you’ll be looking at a generous salary of around £61,890. Sales Director salaries are reported to go as high as £99,390 plus commission of up to £47,219!
