We’re pleased to introduce our newest team member Michael Gallon, who has joined our Head Office team as a Recruitment Consultant.
Michael is currently working his way through our intensive Bridgewater Training Academy and is quickly becoming an influential member of our Bridgewater Professionals division. We caught up with him 3 weeks into his training to find out how he’s getting on.
How are you finding the role and working at Bridgewater so far?
I’m absolutely loving the role and the training has been really useful. I feel that I’ve been able to get stuck in straight away! I’ve already started having contact with clients and candidates which is what the most exciting part for me is.
What’s been your favourite part of the role so far?
Definitely going out of the office and getting to see some candidates. I’ve also started to build relations myself and I really enjoy that side of the job.
What are you looking forward to?
Starting to place people in roles. I want to see the whole process through from start to finish and I think getting that placement at the end will be the most rewarding part of the job for me.
How have you found the training?
There is definitely lots to learn here at Bridgewater, but what’s really great is that the training is so varied and keeps you interested. In the past, I’ve started new jobs where you are just given a load of stuff to read which gets boring very quickly. With The Bridgewater Training Academy, I have had so much variety with practical exercises and videos to watch which has made the whole thing really enjoyable.

His favourite film is Goodfellas.
He loves Italian food.
He once had trials with Newcastle! But he didn’t get in so he has to make do with watching them instead…
