We would like to congratulate Dan Partington on graduating from the Bridgewater Training Academy.
Dan joined us as a Graduate Recruitment Trainee back in May this year and has since undergone a 6-month intensive training programme to develop his knowledge and skill-set. His graduation also coincides with him winning our November Consultant of the Month Award. All of that training and hard work must be paying off!
We caught up with Dan at the end of his training and here’s what he had to say:
How does it feel to have completed your training?
Really good, it seems to have gone very quickly! I’m definitely seeing the benefits of the Bridgewater Training Academy and things are coming to fruition.
How did you find the Bridgewater Training Academy?
Great! I liked the fact that I was given a lot of responsibility from very early on. The Training Academy offered me a lot of support, but also the chance to find my own way of doing things. I was able to try new things, make some of my own mistakes and find my feet. It wasn’t rigidly structured and there was the flexibility there to make sure the training worked well for me.
What’s been the most enjoyable part?
Well, I think winning Consultant of the month for November is quite an achievement! It shows how far I have come.
In terms of the training, I really enjoyed initially shadowing other Consultants and getting to see how they conduct interviews and what happens when they meet up with candidates.
Our Talent Development Manager, Sophie Finlay has been working closely with Dan over the last 6 months and had the following to say:
“It is hard to believe Dan joined us in May of this year as he has already proven to be such an invaluable member of the team. Dan has consistently shown initiative and an eager approach to work throughout his training. I am looking forward to seeing him continue to grow and continue to make an impact at Bridgewater.”
Our CEO, Agnes Butterworth has also been very impressed with Dan, she said:
