Bridgewater Resources are pleased to introduce Robbie Jones, who recently joined us as a Graduate Recruitment Trainee. He is the newest member of our Bridgewater Graduates Division and has already started to take ownership of our Graduate roles in the North West.
Robbie is currently working through our intensive Bridgewater Training Academy programme. We caught up with him 7 weeks into his training to see how everything is going.
How are you finding the role and working at Bridgewater so far?
I’m really enjoying it. The training has been fantastic and the job itself is so much more than what I expected. It’s definitely challenging, but the autonomy you’re given is really great.
What’s been your favourite part of the role so far?
It’s got to be meeting and interviewing candidates. I enjoy getting to know them and their ambitions and holding face-to-face interviews really helps you to do this.
What are you looking forward to?
Making my first placement! It will be great to see someone through the whole process from that initial phone call to starting their new role.
How have you found the training?
The training has been brilliant and Sophie (our Talent Development Manager) is very supportive. I’ve been given the freedom to try new things to see what works and what doesn’t. It’s great that the training isn’t just learning about systems and procedures, it’s also to do with developing my skills. I definitely feel like I have grown both professionally and as a person since joining Bridgewater.
